Der har været flere der har skrevet om at KaZaA installerer
spy-programmer, så nu har jeg lige prøvet at installere det for at se
om det er rigtigt.
For overhovedet at installere programmet skal licensbetingelserne
accepteres, og der står at Cydoor ikke kan vælges fra. Der står også
tydeligt at KaZaA er et "adware" program:

meaning that we have partnered with Cydoor Technologies to deliver
small ads to the main window of the application, in order for KaZaA
to bring targeted advertising.
The software will display web content such as banner ads, e-commerce

Både før og efter installationen kørte jeg sidste nye AdAware fra
Lavasoft. Der var ingen spionprogrammer da jeg startede
installationen, og bagefter var der kun Cydoor.
Så min konklusion er at KaZaA er et reelt adware program, og der
bliver ikke installeret spionprogrammer bag ryggen på folk.
