Network Access with password
Fra :

I've created a Visual Basic 6.0 program that scans multiple computers across
a Win98 network. All computers are typically accessible through Network
Neighborhood. My program reads from a file on each computer and places the
appropriate information into a text box in my form. Everything works fine
except that sometimes the computer being scanned wants a password entered.
Going through Net. Neighborhood, I can just type in the password when
prompted. But, when the Visual Basic program tries to access the file, it
isn't prompted and is therefore denied the conection. Any ideas on code to
establish a connection and have the password preprogrammed in? Thanks in
advance...
