Hi to all,
I have at work a computer which is used for a building management
application. This application generates at lot of alarms which all via
Outlook 2000 is send to a number of persons.
Now at winter time, the application generates up to 600 mails each day.
When such an alarm mail have been sent, there is no reason to keep it any
more. My question is now, how can I automaticly delete all these sent
mails.
I have tried to create a rule in Outlook, but it isn't possible to delete
automaticly from the folder sent items and nor to empty the folder deleted
items.
Perhaps a macro/script could be a solution, but that requires some code in
VB, and I don't know anything about programing in VB, so for me that is not
the solution.
Does anybody have a good idea to solve this problem?????
rgds.

Hey Steffen
How about letting the mail delete it selv because it is to old.
I know that it is posible to set a time at hvich the mail is to old, and
therefore deleted.
Maybe it vill work for you?
Best regards
