Disc One: Demons (Fully Uncut Version) (1985) 88 mins
Italian horror mastermind, Dario Argento produced and co-wrote with Director
Lamberto Bava this nightmarish classic. People from all walks of life have
been invited to a special screening in an isolated movie theatre, several of
the audience are disgusted by the film, a brutal stalk and slash flick that
centres around demonic possession and graphic murder.
Meanwhile a young girl who cut her face on a display mask in the foyer
begins to undergo a hideous transformation. She contaminates her companion
and panic spreads around the cinema. In terror everyone rushes for the exits
only to discover that they have been walled in. As the evil spreads, events
escalate into an orgy of bloodshed and madness, climaxing in a crescendo of
violence.
Disc Two: Demons 2 (Fully Uncut Version) (1986) 95 mins
Time has passed but the Demons have waited. Through TV sets in a high-rise
apartment block they re-enter the real world, turning Sally Day's 16th
birthday party into an event of unspeakable horror. Guests watch aghast as
Sally's hands twist into claws, her teeth become fangs, her veins bulge,
pulse and eyes turn into demonic yellow. Black corrosive blood seeps from
her body, spreading the Demon plague throughout the building, infecting all
those it touches.
With the exits sealed and the building plunged into darkness the Demons
strike, turning the basement gym into a slaughter-house and the underground
garage into a bloodstained battleground.
The survivors struggle against the horrific creatures but the odds are
overwhelming, and when at last salvation is in sight, the Demons play their
last, hideous trick...

two directors of classic horror fame reunite to discuss their legendary
