Hej NG
Da vi planlæger at taget til Koh Samui til oktober, høre jeg gerne om
erfaringer, hvor på øen man skal bo og hvor det er mindre godt. Da vi skal
mødes med et par der kommer fra New Zealand er vi lidt afhængige af hvad de
kan booke. De har fået et godt tilbud på Lamai Beach. Er det et godt sted.
Vi kan godt lide gode strand, gode spisesteder og "lidt gang i gaden" om
aftenen.
Hører gerne fra nogle der har været der.

Hej Martin
Lamai Beach er udemærket, men hvis I vil have bedre strand, flere restaurant
muligheder og MEGET mere gang i gaden skal I istedet tage til Chaweng Beach.
Der er flere turister og det er en smule dyrere, men der sker også mere.
Jeg kan varmt anbefale at I bor på Moby Dick Guesthouse. Det ligger i
centrum af Chaweng by, det er nyt og værelserne er pæne. Ejeren er nordmand
og er til at handle med. Prøv at se om I kan få de to øverste værelser. De
er fine og der en kæmpe terrasse med en kanon udsigt.
Herfra er der 2 minutters gang til Green Mango, som er et kæmpe diskotek,
eller I kan tage en taxa til min favorit - Reggae Pub - hvor der plejer at
være godt gang i den. Hvis I er på Koh Samui, mens der er fullmoon-party på
naboøen Koh Pha Nang, så tag en tur med speedbåd frem og tilbage og så skal
I se en fest der vil noget.

Jeg ved sgu ikke Steen. Jeg har aldrig taget narko, men har haft nogle
fornøjelige Fullmoon-parties v.h.a. Maekhong Whiskey og øl. Du kan have ret
i, at der er mange som nok benytter sig af lidt stærkere ting, men man kan
vel selv bestemme - ikke???
Jeg synes klart, det er værd at opleve, hvis man har chancen, for det er da
noget af en fest!!!

Jeg er nogenlunde enig i underholdningsværdien af festen, men jeg har nu
ikke indtryk af at der er SÅ mange stoffer der. Da jeg var der for et par år
siden, var det ikke meget værre end et diskotek i downtown Århus. Konceptet
er vist blevet lidt udvandet, efterhånden som alle charterturisterne fra
Samui (og sikkert også Koh Pha Nang) er begyndt at ville være syrede med de
syrede.

Jeg kan anbefale Silver Beach, der ligger 2 udlejere af bungalovs helt nede
ved en lille ugeneret bugt.God strand. Meget billigt 25 kr om dagen. Bestil
