De sidste par vers, ser ud til at omhandle, at da begæret flyttede ind,
flyttede den hellige due også, underforstået "ud"
efterfulgt af at indse, at han jo faktisk havde mistet en stor del af sin
tro på Gud, og han stædigt fortsatte med at straffe alle, som prøvede at få
ham tilbage på rette kurs. Så i grove træk, kan man vel sige, at den
handler om de 10 bud.
