Cybercity (CC) has been my ISP for the last 2 years. Their service has
been very reliable,- I've only experienced 2 or 3 breakdowns in those 2
years and they've always been able to fix it within a couple of hours.
The supporters are quite competent it seems, and they actually have a
couple of mac-users in the supporter-team.
CC will most likely send out a technician who will, if needed, pull some
cables into your home. All you have to do is to connect the computers to
the router (provided by CC), enter an url mailed to you by CC
("snailmail"), reboot and you'll be up and running. You should consider
buying a switch though,- it's probably somewhere around 300,- kr....
My mac set-up is very similar to what you and your friend have, and so
far it's been running flawlessly with the service provided by CC. I'd
say you should go for CC!...besides,- 395 kr/month for a 1 Mbyte adsl
connection is too bad...
