Better still, the studio has finally rescheduled their Bowling for
Columbine: Special Edition for release on August 19th (SRP $26.98). The disc
will include over 4 hours of bonus material, including a exclusive interview
with director Michael Moore on his Oscar win and controversial acceptance
speech, an introduction to the film by Moore, audio commentary by "the
production office receptionist and interns" introduced by Moore, the Return
to Denver/Littleton featurette, the Film Festival Scrapbook featurette,
Marilyn Manson's Fight Song music video, a teacher's guide, an interview of
Moore conducted by former White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart at HBO's
Comedy Arts Festival, The Charlie Rose Show interview with Moore, Mike's
Action Guide and weblink, photo gallery, the theatrical trailer and more.
Looks to us like the delay in the DVD release was for good reason. There's
some interesting new stuff on this thing.
