deres musik?
It is legal to possess MP3s from EMusic as long as you are
or have been a subscriber to EMusic. However, we can say
for certain whether Denmark has its own rules governing MP3
possession. You may need to contact that group to determine
if you can follow the guidelines.
EMusic's MP3s are encoded at 128Kbps using the encoder
LAME 3.92. Our MP3s are not restricted in any way.
The ID3 tags we use are version 1.0 and version 2.3.
You may find that some albums are restricted to US or
Canadian customers only.
We're sorry that we cannot offer this particular music to our
customers outside the US and Canada.
When an album is restricted by territory it is because the label
does not have the legal right to sell the music outside of the
licensed countries, and another label owns the rights in the
restricted territory. As an example, the Belle And Sebastian
catalog. Matador owns the rights for Canada and US. Virgin
Records owns the rights in the rest of the world. Since we cannot
get clearance from Virgin Records, downloads outside of the US
and Canada are blocked by those record labels.
EMusic works very hard on a daily basis to acquire more
content, so please continue to check back periodically for your
favorite artists.
