Is the academic version of Front Page the same as the standard version? I
ordered a regular version of Front Page from a big ecommerce store and
received the Academic. Will Microsoft give me trouble down the road when
its time to upgrade or get downloads off the web such as additional themes?
I'm looking into getting some refund or something from the estore. I paid
the higher price and not the academic price, so some kind of adjustment
needs to be made. Let me know what you guys think.

Yes, it is the same. Only licensing is different.
No, there will be no trouble from Microsoft.
To pay Academic price you need to request it, you will then be asked
to send in verification that you qualify via fax or letter.
Not all shops offer this so inquire with the shop you have in mind.
