Jeg har fået denne mail er der nogen der kan hjælpe?

Dear Mr. Beyer,

I have found your address in the web and want to ask you if you knew
somebody who is familiar with Greenland birds. We have just returned from a
short trip to Greenland - Ilulisat to Narsarsuaq by boat. To our great
disappoinement we found only few bird species - about 14, most of them only
in few numbers. Aren't there any waders in this region, or is it already the
beginning of autumn migration? Where is the Water Pipit which I found on a
list? Where are the loons which should be found at the small lakes? Where
are the ducks (we have seen only about 20 Eiders in 5 days)?

I hope I do not bother you too much with my enquiry, but we are still
shocked - the most beautiful landscape without birds looks dead to us.

Det er netop det der kendetegner Grønland, der er meget få arter. Men om
tidspunktet er dårligt ved jeg ikke. I oktober er der i hvert fald tåget af
andefugle i titusindvis.
