Q - How Do I Pick Up a Hooker?
A - Drive by a hooker(usually wearing panty hose) when you see them wait a
little while for them to get in, then go into the nearest alley and wait a
bit. It works with some cars and some cars it won't. It also depends what
type of ally you're in.
Q - Can I jump off of a building?
A - Yes and you'll lose at LEAST amount of 3 health, but you'll die if you
jump in some water, or say a HIGH cliff face.
Q - How do I squirt water from the firetruck?
A - By pressing the O button INSIDE the truck you can't work it outside of
the truck. Also you can move the hose around by moving the R3 button be
careful you don't end the fire mission though by pressing down on R3.
Q - How do I save?
A - Just walk into the door by your garage, and the save screen comes up.
Q - How do I change music in the cars?
A - Just Press L1
Q - Which car has hydraulics? how do you use the hydraulics?
A - The car from the Yardies (Yardies LOBO - Red tan top) in Staunton. L3
raises and lowers the hydrolics and R3 moves the car left, and right, you
can also move up or down with this depending on if you have the car raised
with the L3 button or not.
Q - How do I honk the horn?
A - L3 (Left Analog)
Q - Can you save cars at all the garages in the city you have access to, or
only the one where you're saving your game at?
A - All the garages will save cars! You can save cars in multiple garages at
the same time.
Q - How do I buy guns?
A - By going to your local AMUNATION. Just look on the map that came with
the box.
Q - What are the stars ranking?
A -
1 Star - cops chase for brief moment
2 Stars - 2 cops chase you and bump a little bit.
3 Stars - Cops and choppers are on your butt now
4 Stars - Swat Teams and road blocks including cops STILL chasing you.
5 Stars - FBI AND COPS are trying to stop you
6 Stars - Army comes after you and you're dead
Q - How do I change views?
A - By pressing the Select button.
Q - Where can I find the flame thrower?
A - Go along the Monorail tracks in Portland, and there will be a building
on the edge of the tracks which you can walk onto. There is also a hidden
package there.
Another way to do it is...Across from the Ammo shop there is a ramp on the
side of the subway station in wich you can get a car up there. Just make
sure you got straight when you hit the tracks and eventually you'll notice
the big gray building to your left which you see a glowing gun on top of.
You can also find one in some wharehouses in Shoreside where you can also
buy an M16. OR you can find ANOTHER one in Shoreside I found recently for
FREE under the bridge going into Staunton. It's up against the wall under
the bridge going towards Staunton.
Q - Can I hook a trailer up to the 18 Wheeler?
A - No it just wasn't part of the game.
Q - How do I do a driveby?
A - You can do a driveby simply by stealing a car and equipping an uzi
before getting in. Then just turn to the Right or Left side view of the car
and press O to fire. You can also use the inside view as well. *NOTE* only
the uzi will work while doing this.
Q - Can you go into buildings?
A - Yes only ones without doors or, in which case doors are already open.
You can also drive through windows of some buildings and walk around.
Q - Where is the Car list for Gone in 60 Seconds(Import/Export dealer
lists)?
A - There's a List of Cars on a wharehouse by the Portland docks next to
some big canisters the list is next to a blue door. In SV there's a list on
the outside of a door on a building with a median in it that has kinda like
a half-circle short driveway. A reward is given if you collect all the cars
in the list. Also What IS the list of cars?

Q - What is the prize I get for getting the Gone in 60 Seconds
Mission(Import/Export Dealer)?
A - You get the selection of any car you have submitted to that building.
When you complete it you go in and it will have little GTA icons that have
the name of the car on each just select the one you want by walking into it
and it will tell you to go outside then it will show up and you can go in
and pick it up.
Q - Do those sites in the instruction booklet actually work?
A - Yes!

Q - What do the pills do?
A - They add stamina and you can kill people twice as easy with the bat or
hands. Sometimes having super strenth when taking them and killing people.
Q - Where is the Car dealership?
A - Next to the Gas Station and Fire Station in Portland. Also #17 on the
map which came with the game.
Q - Can I jump out of the car while moving?
A - No it wasn't included as a feature in the game.
Q - Can I commit suicide in this game?
A - Just run in front of some cars. Try to kill the police. Try to kill some
gangs. Jump off into some water, or jump off a high building. Drive into the
wall at about 70 miles an hour. There's tons of ways.
Q - How do I activate the sirens in Emergency vehicles?
A - L3 (Left Analog) Press quickly.
Q - How do I turn the icecream truck music on and off?
A - L3 (Left Analog)
Q - What vehicles have mini missions and how do I activate them?
A - Activate them by pressing R3 (Right Analog)

Q - What's this RC thing I keep hearing about?
A - You can go around each part of the city and find a couple of vans that
have toy factory logos on the sides. In which case you get in and the mini
mission allows you to blow up as many enemy cars as possible within the time
limit for money.
Q - When can I get to the next island?
A - It all depends on what mission you're on, the mission where you're
supposed to go pick up a car "last resort" I believe should be the last one.
You'll get a page in which the girl that you did the party thing for earlier
tells you the car is a bomb and you go meet her at the docks and the game
advances.
Q - Does Pay N' Spray make your car faster?
A - It doesn't make it any faster but if the car was damaged and running
slower, it will restore it to original condition.
Q - Where can I find the S.W.A.T Van?
A - On the second island at the police station you can steal a cop car and
go through the gate to an upper level with more cop cars and a swat van take
it and go through the second gate to get out and you got it scott free.
Q - How Do I answer my pager?
A - You can't actually ANSWER it or see it it comes up when there is a
message and you just have to read what it says and then do it. Most of time
when it asks you something it will mark whatever it is on the map.
Q - Can I fly the plane?
A - ONLY THE DODO. Sometimes if you're a good enough player you can make it
to the second island without a scratch. It's flyable but only when you have
a good stretch of space to try on and you know the controls well. Also see
the links section for more tips on flying.
Q - Can you get a bigger picture of the map without having to drive fast?
A - No you can't it wasn't a feature included that we know of just yet.
Q - Is there an easier way to help 8-ball with the sniper?
A - Yes, across from the ship and two trucks parked out front next to the
big crane there is some steps going up to the top of a building go to the
top and stand on the very edge. Aim down at the guys and start taking them
out fast. It took myself 3 trys. You just have to get used to aiming good
with it.
Q - Where can I get the Rocket Launcher?
A - After you beat the second mission made by the toilet guy at the depot,
you can go back to the depot anytime to pick up a shotgun,M-16, or
rocketlauncher.
Q - Once you get the packages what do I get?
A - You will get these sent to your hideout after every 10 here's the list.

Q - How many missions are there?
A - 73 just press start to see your stats and see for yourself.
Q - How often do the guns reappear at your hideout?
A - Usually after you leave out of their view a bit or when you run out of
ammo.
Q - Where can I get the bullet proof hummer?
A - You end up with it on a mission but 90% of the people don't actually
come out with it so if you do then you're lucky. If you put it in the garage
and save it, then it won't show up when you come back.

Q - Where can I find the tank?
A - The best way to get a tank is to beat all the story missions. After you
have seen the masterful credits you can go to area #10 on Staunton Island
(Phil Cassidy's Army Surplus) and an unlocked tank will be sitting there for
your taking. It even comes back after you die or get busted.
Q - How do I make my rank higher?
A - Do more of everything! kill people, do more missions, steal more cars do
the mini-missions, beat people, or just do rampages pretty much anything you
do advances you a little bit.
Q - Can i go to seashore vale by boat even if im not done with Staunton
island?
A - No you can't I've even tried it myself there's a water block that won't
let you go past no matter how far you go. It cuts you off halfway there.
Q - Can I turn off the car engine?
A - No known way we know of.
Q - Are there any motorcycles in this game?
A - No not in this one anyway.
Q - Can I still do the Turismo Missions if I skip them and go to the next
island?
A - Yes it might not show up on the map but when you pass the phone you'll
hear it ring just stop and pick it up.
Q - What is the securicar?
A - It's an armored bank truck
Q - What's the BF Injection? And where can I find it?
A - During earlier missions working with joey you saw that he was working on
a dunebuggy that's it. You can find it later in the game right near the
phones in portland at about 21:00 hours. It's right next to the phone parked
by the building you can't miss it.
Q - When you steal a taxi cab and pick people up to go to their
destinations, Does have any kind of indication on how to pick them up?
A - Yes it shows a green dot you go pick them up and then when you DO pick
them up the destination will be marked with a pink dot instead.
Q - What is the dodo?
A - A small plane found at the airport on the third island.
Q - Is the best way to find rare cars by doing the mini missions, like the
vigilante ones?
A - Sometimes. You can find rare ones like the icecream truck, or lamborgini
in Portland etc, etc.
Q - How many Islands are there and what's their names?
A - 3 and it's Portland, Staunton Island, and Shoreside Vale.
Q - Want the flame thower or Cocktails?
A - here's the answer. In Shoreside Vale in the industrial district there is
a building with about 10 wharehouse doors on it. I believe it's behind the
hospital somewhere. Inside one of them you can buy cocktails or a
flamethrower your choice. In a couple of the other wharehouses there you can
find a police bribe and health.
Q - What's the Emergency Vehicles Gone In 60 Seconds and Where can I go to
complete this?
A - In portland where the other gone in 60 seconds wharehouse is. There is a
red truck over by some cargo containers. You'll notice a yellow yield place
on the concrete somewhere near by. When you place these types of vehicles
for it where it is marked a crane will pick them up and put them on the
ship, it will give you money and upon compeletion you'll get a pick out of
all those like the other GIS seconds missions.

Q - How do I get the 6th star?
A - It's said that to obtain it you have to at least get to the third
island. I'm not exactly sure though. I konw during one of the missions for
the third I got 6 stars so I should be right.
Q - Can I open the car door and not get in?
A - Yes, just press in the opposite direction and he won't get in. In other
words he'll throw someone out but not get in.
Q - If you use cheats in the game does it make it harder to get 6 stars?
A - NO if you're not on the 3rd Island then you won't be able to get the 6th
one either way.
Q - How many taxi missions does it take to get the *special* taxi?
A - 100 and they don't have to be all in order. When you complete it it will
be near harwood in Portland. You should be able to notice it.
Q - What is the Multi Story Mayhem Mini Mission? A - It's a mini mission
like the hummer except it's inside a car garage in Staunton. Outside the
gates steal a stallion. Usually the ones that have them are red so look for
those. Stallions seem to be the only ones that can do it. Sometimes the
mission screen pops up and sometimes it doesn't I guess it depends on when
you get the car.
Q - How many hidden packages are in EACH city?
A -
33 on Portland
36 on Staunton
31 on Shoreside
Q - Is there any boat traffic in the water when you're cruising around?
A - I certainly haven't seen any. Maybe it was something they missed.
HELPFUL HINTS!
If you only want to fix your car, dont go to the spray shop and waste $1000,
just put it in your garage, Let the door close and voila! a brand new car!
At your safe point, when you try to enter more than 2 cars it says that you
can't fit more cars in it but get your car close to the garage, get out of
your car and the door will open. Quickly get back in your car and enter your
car in. Dont worry about breaking it because your garage will repair them
for free.
On the SECOND Gone in 60 seconds mission(Import/Export dealer lists). If you
stay within a mile of the wharehouse. 80% of the cars you need will drive
right in front of the wharehouse so just sit there all day and pull in cars
as you see them. I got all the cars by standing there except the dune buggy
and limo.
On some of the car races. Before you get to the starting line, hop in some
cars and block those others so they have a hard time getting out of the way,
by the time they do you're way ahead.
There's an adreniline pill near the boat to make the 8-ball mission even
easier. Even though I didn't need it because I got it on the first try.
Do you want FBI cars easy? Do this... get 5 stars and go to your homebase in
Staunton Island make sure the FBI cars come INTO your base for some reason
if they get out on the otherside of the garage and you run over by the save
door when you go back to check if they're about to shoot you, they're all
gone! And the car is yours for the taking. I got 5 at one time. They're
actually pretty easy to get.
When you have the More handling cheat on it gives all the cars Hydraulics.
So you might want to try that out.
