Jeg tror ikke det er en joke, for det har sikkert noget med
magnetfelter at gøre. F.eks. reklamerer Sony med at min monitor selv
finder ud af at justere sig efter hvordan jordens magnetfelt er det
sted hvor den bliver stillet.

Colour Purity describes a monitor's capacity to reproduce a coloured
area homogenously.
All ViewSonic and Nokia monitors are adjusted and set by computers in
the factory. In some environments colour spots or colour variations can
occasionally occur under the influence of electromagnetic fields.
Monitors with aperture grilles(*) (i. e. P220f, 445Pro or P225f) are
more sensitive than conventional CRT monitors to such extreme
interferences.
In this case, however, colour spots or colour variations do not
represent defects of the monitor, and can easily be corrected by the
endusers themselves through the On Screen controls.

Uanset hvilket verdenshjørne din monitor peger mod, så burde du kunne
justere dig ud af eventuelle farveforskelle på skærmen, medmindre du
stiller den op af et stærkt magnetfelt, for så beder du selv om
problemer. F.eks. en stor højttaler, eller noget i den stil.
