 | publishing problem

Have recently purchased a domain name from Godaddy. When I attempt to
publish a web page designed on front page I get a pop up window stating that
I must get author permission along with a space for username and password. I
have entered both my godaddy username and password and my earthlink username
and password. I have gone to Front page's home page and they state that I
should click tools - security - permissions and set up a username and
password. The problem is, when I click tools the security bar is faded out
so it cannot be clicked.
Anyone got any ideas on how I can get my mess published

Check with Godaddy that it is the correct username/password you enter.
Remember that it is casesensitive.

I 've checked with godaddy a number of times and stil cannot publish, thanks
for response. john. PS, any other ideas?
