Though probably lost in all the Harry Potter buzz today, USA Home
Entertainment has just announced that they have licensed Steven Soderbergh's
acclaimed Traffic to Criterion for a new deluxe two-disc special edition, to
be released on 5/28. Disc one includes an anamorphic widescreen transfer and
English Dolby Digital 5.1 track, and no less than three commentaries with
director Steven Soderbergh and screenwriter Stephen Gaghan; producers Laura
Bickford, Edward Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz, and consultants Tim Golden
and Craig Chretien; and composer Cliff Martinez. Disc two features deleted
scenes with commentary from Soderbergh and Gaghan, a film processing
demonstration illustrating how the look of the sequences set in Mexico were
achieved; an editing demonstration with commentary by editor Stephen
Mirrione, an interactive demonstration of the dialogue editing process,
outtakes with multiple angles of two scenes, and U.S. Customs trading cards
of the narcotics-detecting K-9 squad. Retail is $39.95, and the current USA
movie-only edition will remain on the market.

Det bliver godt.

Ka-POW!

rygterne om The Game senere.
