Vil give alle point for hjælp..!
a)
According to the test is the testing of chemicals necessary, because for the fear for unwelcome effects, who at worst can transmit the chemical from the products to the human body. These could be cancer, kidney, damage, and reproductive injury. Another thing is to bring forth date that estimate the exposure-response relationship for the chemical in human beings.
b)
The LD50 test is used to determine the lethal dosage of a chemical. Literally, it means that a specific quantity of a chemical will cause the death of 50% of the test animals.
The process works as follows. One hundred animals, such as rats, are given a dosage of a chemical. The scientists see how many of the animals die. If only 5 out of 100 die, they know they have to increase the dosage. So, they take 100 different rats and give them a higher dosage. Once the test gives the favorable result, or 50 out of the 100 rats die they have the correct “lethal dosage”. The scientists then run the test again with new rats to confirm the results were accurate and the dosage is correct.
c)
It is obvious that the industry is interested in alternatives to animals in toxicity testing. I think that 99 per cent of everybody with a heart of gold wants to find alternatives. But perhaps the industries have other plans, for example to make money, or to show the public loving care of animals. Testing of new chemical has a high price, not only for the animals, but for the industry too. To test is very expensive for the companies, one test costs between $500.000 and $1.5 million.
But it is not only the price which gives the companies problems; to test on animals is a very slow process – from start to finish the test can takes up to tow or three years.
d)
All skin care products are tested with the Magnusson-Klingman method. One shaves the guinea pigs, tightens them up, and smears the product on their bare skin. After that, one gives the animal an injection with the product for more than two weeks.
As well the “LD50 test” is a very normal test.
The Professor G. Zbinden, consultant for WHO, calls the test “a ritual massacres on animals” and wishes that it would be abolished for economic, ethical and scientific reasons. Because it is not for sure that effects are the same on people and animals. For example, morphine has a relaxing effect on people, rats, and dogs, but it has the complete opposite effect on cats, goats, and horses.
The Bible commands you not to kill:
What are we doing? During the last few years is the inclination to kill small, sweet, and sensitive cats and dogs just been growing, and we have to stop the development. To kill is to be and murderer, that is a fact – no matter if it is a cat, dog or a human being.
But it is not the only thing that is wrong with killing, to kill is like praying to Satan, to pray for a bad live, or to buy a one-way ticket to hell.
We all know the history about “the Ten Commandments” the Word, which were cut into the slate of stone. One of them was “You are not aloud to kill” – and to kill cats is against the Word.
What will be the next – that we make it aloud to steal or the test chemicals on human beings.
In one way we have to stop the evolution, no matter what! If we not even can respect the Word, how will we ever be god enough respect each other?
As I see it, is there no easy answer to the problem. People have to respect the man who is the Boss in our world; one way to do that is to come up with a new solution to the problem about toxicity testing. I can’t come with answer, but if the Government put some more money in to research, the new solution will come someday.

Mvh. Zofie.
