Jeg vil tro at de kan købes hos Struers, eller andre firmaer der sælger kemikalier til laboratoriebrug. Prisen er sikkert kun et par hundrede kroner for fx 250 ml af hver isomer. Decan er en kulbrinte med 10 carbonatomer og 22 hydrogenatomer, bruttoformlen er altså C16H22. Der findes 75 forskellige isomere af decan. Så glem det bare, medmindre du har tænkt dig at ofre en større formue på projektet. Desuden er Struers og andre kemikalieleverandører nærmest allergiske overfor at handle med privatpersoner, uanset hvor ufarlige kemikaler du prøver på at købe.
