Hi,

I'm trying to remove the SIM lock on a T18s by downloading the EEPROM and
retrieving the NCK from it using decryption software. I have difficulties
getting things to work. I bought the cable and connected the T18s to my
system but nothing happens. The download software asks me to press the NO
button, but it doesn't seem to detect it.

I tried another program, which does detect the NO button, but nothing
happens after that. When I open up hyperterminal and listen to COM1, a see
characters appear when I move my finger over the connector, so I now it's
connected correctly.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to set the T18s in some special mode? Any
advice?

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I assume you have bought a flash-
/datacable, and I am having the same problem with a A2618s. But there is a
program, who's going in and automatically removing the NCK. It also resets
your PIN-2 code. Anyway it does in my telephone.

I have bought a datacable for A1018/T10/T18... Do you happen to have URL to
that program??

I think so, but I am also afraid that the one to make logo´s and other
things, only can be obtained from Ericsson.
We sell the cables for unlock.

Ok..

I have a cable but I have no idea if it came from Ericsson (it's not printed
anywhere)... Is there a way to find out what kind of cable I have? I opened
it and the cable has only 3 wires going from the serial connector to the
t18s connector.
