Windows XP desktop theme
Fra : J. Henderson

Dato : 23-10-06 21:45

After changing the theme to 'windows classic' with gray background and
saving it as 'default.theme' it works perfectly until shutdown.

But when I start again it comes back as 'windows xp' with blue background.
What can I do?

John

Make a new directory Windows\System 32\Theme. Copy your Theme files into
that directory, and install it from there.

I'm using the theme named "Royale".
To make that work I made a directory named "desktheme" in the Windows
directory. (c:Windows\Desktheme\), and copied all files to that directory,
and installed the theme from that directory.
It had worked for more than a year now, so I know it works.

You can also copy the files to c\windows\Resources\Themes and install it via
options for screen.
