Hej venner, I får lige en 'copy paste' på engelsk fra andet
forum....
Undskyld min dovenskab.
I'm fiddling around with
http://www.kian.dk which I've made with
tables, javascript and CSS using Golive and code.
I'd like to be able to change the contents in the white box...
which will be 2 cells eventually, containing image in the left
and text in the right as you click the menu above.
Ex 1: Click 'welcome' and you get a welcome text on the right,
and a related picture on the left.
ex. 2: click 'gallery' and you get 5x5 thumbnails in the left
cell, and as you click each thumbnail, it will cause a larger
version to appear on the right.
How do I approach this? Is it right to use tables or should I
have used layers.
I've learned about iframes, but I'm sure there must be a better
way with javascript, php or something!?
My problem is that in ONE of the links, the left cell (see
above) will not contain one cell, but a table with 5x5 cells,
because I will be showing several clickable pictures. In the
other pages there will only be one picture not clickable in the
same ONE cell.
The person I'm making this for, wanted me to use this page as a
layout model.
http://www.ragdenmark.dk
What I'm making will be almost similar. different links, tekst,
colors and logo, but same grid and cells.
I like the way it works, and the challenge of finding out how. I
know the CSS in the page (sort of).
But I'm stuck in the code where they use PHP.
At least I think they use PHP. I dont know much about PHP.
If you rool over the differend buttons, they all link to
index.php but with differend parameters like this
index.php?ID=3&lang=da
This I dont understand. Does php link to an external script like
the CSS? ( its in: /style/front.css or /style/screen.css)
I cannot find out what those parameters does of fits into the
code on the page or in the css files. Is it javascript or php
they use to change the page?
Is it the same page they load with differend parameters, or is it
actually differend pages?
I know I can just make a differend page pr. link, but it would be
nice if I could make the thing as smooth as possible... And learn
at the same time. unfortunately I've a deadline to catch!
Hope to find help.
Also: You know a perfect 'PHP basics for designers' book? I've
got PHP and MYsql for webdevelopment... but i need something
short and simple with tutorials. Måske på dansk?
