Jeg er ikke sikker på, om det er dette modem du har, men teksten
nedenfor handler om Lasat Safire 560 Voice, som nok ligner dit.
Teksten stammer fra dokumentationen, som jeg har downloadet fra
http://www.eicon.com/support/helpweb/lasat/product.asp?p=saf
On the front panel of the Safire I, there are 3 push-buttons and 8
light-indicators.
Push-Buttons
ON/OFF: Turns the modem ON and OFF. Status is displayed on the
ON-indicator.
VOL: Regulates the volume of the loudspeaker.
******************************************************************************
< >: Pressing the < symbol turns down the volume. Pressing the >
symbol turns up the volume. During adjustment, the volume intensity is
shown on the indicators. If the volume up button (>) is pressed while
power is turned on, the adapter will be programmed with the factory
default - the (>) button must, however, be pressed in aprox. 5 seconds
until all indicators flash.
*****************************************************************************
Light-Indicators
ON: Indicates that the modem is turned on.
OH: Off Hook. The indicator is on when the modem is using the
telephone line.
DTR: Data Terminal Ready. Indicates that the Safire I is connected to
the computer and is ready for data transmission. The Safire I will
disconnect any connection and will be in idle mode if DTR disappears.
DCD: Data Carrier Detect. Is turned on as long as the Safire I is
connected to another modem. It also shows an incoming call by flashing
when a call is detected.
EC: Error Correction. The indicator is turned on when error correction
is being used. The EC indicator will flash when establishing a
connection if the Safire I fails to establish a data compression
protocol.
FC: Flow Control. The indicator is on when hardware flow control is
ac-tive on either the modem or the PC.
TXD: Transmit data. The Safire I is transmitting data.
RXD: Receive data. The Safire I Voice is receiving data.
Læg mærke til teksten som jeg har indrammet med ****;
dér er angivet, hvordan man resetter modemet til
fabriksindstillingerne.
Det var måske et forsøg værd at prøve dette.
