Hi
I'm trying to make a navigation as update-able as possible. This
means, that I'd prefer to make buttons from variables. It's no problem
at all; at the main timeline I define all variables e.g.
Menu-item1=Welcome
Menu-item2=Gallery
Menu-item3=Contact
and so on. And then I make different buttons where the up, over and
down state is determined by the variables. E.g the upstate in the
Menu-item2 button is a dynamic textfield with the variable name
"Menu-item2". This works great. I can now change the name of all
buttons in no time, but the really problem is the hit-state. Of course
the hit-state may NOT be larger than the menu-text, but how can i
define this right? If menu-item 1 is "Laugh" and item 2 is "let's make
some noise" these two buttons requires different lengths of
hit-states. I won't just make another dynamic textfield in the hit
state, 'cause then the hitstate is ONLY ON every character and NOT in
the space between. How to do??
Kind regards
