16. locate eeprom 24c16 (top Right where the display was)
17. whilst phone is still on short pins 6 & 7 of '24c16', The short must
make a good connection, The best way is to loop a piece of very thin wire
around pin 6 and through a needle, then twist the needle until the wire is
tight against pin 6 ( not touching any other pin ) then when you want to
short the pins, all you have to do is touch the needle on pin 7 and hold it
there. If you are going to use this needle method, then wrap the wire whilst
the phone is off (between step 7 and 8), to avoid shorting other parts of
the circuit board. Alternatively you can use a small screwdriver placed
between the two pins and twist the driver slightly to short the pins.
18. Read phone again (you will see funny imei) an imei number starting with
6565 seems to work best but others do work.
19. Push unlock button 5 times
20. Remove connection on eepron 6 and 7
21. Push unlock button again
22. phone should be unlocked.
Unlocking V5.36
Nokia now include the eeprom contents in the checksum calculation and the
shorting solution used on V5.31 has now been plugged.
Several people have been asking for the V5.36 hack, so here it is but use it
at YOUR OWN RISK, the idea is that you can use your bodies natural
resistance/capacitance to put a load onto pin 5(SDA) of the eeprom.

17. Click ReadME and you should see a messed up IEMI, an IMEI number
starting with 6565 seems to work best but others do work.(if you dont get a
messed up IEMI you probably haven't got a good connection to either pin 5 or

get a messed up IEMI at this stage!!!!!)
