Hey there!

I've just bought an old Compaq XL 6200. When I bought it the was no problems
with it. I know because it had Win 98 se running but after i have split the
hard-drive into 2 partitions (a primary and a secondary) and restarted I now
get this error:

172-EISA configuration novolatile memory invalid
Initalization aborted
Run system configuration utility

I have downloaded all kind of utilities from Compaq's homepage but none of
em works!?!? I can't even start the computer with a bootdisk. I thought it
was the disk drive (A:\) that was broken. So i replaced it with a new one
but it still doesn't work.

I really hope u can help me!

Tror problemet ligger i bundkortet, det er derfor jeg spørger i denne
gruppe.

Jeg ved det godt... idet hele taget "båndproducerede" computere, noget
